Vicki S. Privett, 60, of Bardin, went to be with the Lord at 9:53 p.m. on Monday, February 22, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 30, 1960 in Troy, MO., the daughter of Earl and Jo Ann (Carnahan) McGhee. Vicki moved to Palatka, Florida in 1985 where she married the love of her life, David E. Privett.

Her hobbies included spending time outdoors camping, boating, and fishing. She deeply cherished all the wonderful times spent with her family. Vicki enjoyed her work as a Pharmacy Technician and spent the last 15 years working at Putnam Community Medical Center. She valued every friendship she made while working at PCMC.

She was preceded in death by her father, Earl R. McGhee; grandparents: Oscar R. McGhee, Tina M. McGhee, William H. (Howard) Carnahan, and Thelma J. Carnahan.

Survivors include her mother: Jo Ann McGhee, Bardin; her husband of 35 years: David E. Privett, Bardin; her children and spouses: Angela (Luiz) Vega, Mandy (CJ) Richardson, Brandi (Josh) Wilkinson, Candace (Daniel) Burke; her siblings and spouses: Gary (Gloria) McGhee, Steve (Judy) McGhee, Rick (Dorothy) McGhee, Randy (Pam) McGhee, Linda (Wayne) Parker, and Scott (Laurie) McGhee; 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, and many other special family members and friends.

Per her wishes, her earthly remains were cremated. A memorial celebration of her life will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Bro. Ricky Bybee officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services at 5:00 p.m.
